Last Sunday, June 7, the President of the Valencian Generalitat , Ximo Puig, advanced in an appearance that was going to request the Government to advance to phase 3 to the entire Community.

During the last two weeks the Valencian Community has shown very positive data that have prompted the President to make this decision : no one died in five days and 87 Valencian municipalities without any positive registered for coronavirus.

With all these data, it is very likely that the Government will approve the request and the Valencian Community will go on to phase 3 along with other communities in Spain that have already been so since last Monday, June 8, such as the Region of Murcia, Almería or Malaga .

Visits to properties located in other communities, main novelty of phase 3

Visits to properties is one of the most important factors in buying and selling operations. Since the Alarm State was installed, it has been the most paralyzed real estate factor.

In phase 1 visits were allowed again as long as they were carried out within the same province and with a visitor - real estate agent recommended per home. With phase 3 it will be possible to arrange visits to properties outside the province of residence .

This will help real estate agents continue their physical promotion of houses located in other provinces and communities. This is a very positive aspect for the real estate agencies that offer housing in various regions and that, until now, have not been able to move because the law prevents it.

If next Monday the Costa Blanca, together with the Valencia Community, go to phase 3, visits to other communities located a long distance from the main physical office will be possible.

What steps are estate agents advised to follow to make property visits in phase 3?

If there is something that will not change if the Valencia Region enters Phase 3, it is the security measures when visiting buildings. We remember them:

  • Limited groups of people, preferably three people (real estate agent and two buyers).
  • Avoid going with children
  • Use of gloves, masks and hydroalcoholic gel
  • Safety distance of 1.5-2 meters
  • Avoid traffic to common areas, such as stairs or elevators.
  • Ventilate and disinfect homes after each visit.
