Last Friday, at Mediaelx we celebrated our 23rd anniversary in a very special way: surrounded by the culture of Elche and enjoying the best traditional cuisine. For this occasion, we headed to the Pusol School Museum, a cultural and heritage landmark in Elche with which we maintain a close collaboration through the Pusol Project. Afterwards, we gathered for a meal at Casa Sanchiz, a charming rural restaurant in Monóvar, where we enjoyed an authentic culinary experience with local flavours.
A Visit to the Heart of Elche's Heritage: Pusol Museum
As part of our commitment to protecting the traditions and customs of Elche, Mediaelx maintains a collaboration agreement with the Pusol Museum. This agreement focuses on the development and maintenance of its official website (www.museopusol.com), a key tool for promoting its Pedagogical and Museological Project.
During our visit, we had the honour of being accompanied by Rafael Martínez, Director of the Pusol School Museum, who guided us through the rich history and traditions of Elche. From curiosities about old trades to memories of past times, every corner of the museum reminded us of the importance of preserving and sharing our cultural heritage.

Authentic Flavours at Casa Sanchiz
After the cultural visit, we headed to Casa Sanchiz, a charming restaurant in Monóvar that focuses on local products and traditional cuisine. There, we had the pleasure of tasting exquisite dishes that represent the best of the region’s cuisine.
The Manchego gazpacho, with its intense and authentic flavour, was one of the highlights of the meal. We also enjoyed some expertly made gachamigas and a surprising longaniza tartar that won over our palates. Every bite was a tribute to culinary tradition, accompanied by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service at the restaurant.
A Day to Remember
This 23rd anniversary not only allowed us to celebrate the growth of Mediaelx, but also to reinforce our commitment to the culture and roots of our land. We thank the Pusol Museum team for their warm welcome and the guide for their dedication in sharing fascinating stories about Elche.
